Walk "in step" with the Spirit

God is love and those who love God love one another. Keep yourselves, the Bible says, in the love of God. One of the things we love to do at NetworX is to keep “in step” with Holy Spirit. Walking in the spirit, as it is called, is not hard. It’s so easy!

If your faith, whatever name you put to it, whether it be Pentecostal, Methodist, Catholic, Anglican - whatever, does not lead you to become more loving, more kind and more compassionate, then you've got the wrong religion! It tells you you've been grafted to the wrong spirit. Who is this Spirit that we are to be grafted into? it is the Spirit of God!

The Spirit of God is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and SELF-CONTROL. Against such there is NO LAW! (Galatians 5;22) Those who practice uncleanness, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissentions....those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5:21)

We are encouraged to love through the power of the Spirit. Keeping ourselves filled with love, joy and peace keeps us ‘in step’ with Him. There is no law against love! I pray that ‘as you go’, you get ‘in step’ with Holy Spirit and overcome the flesh by not giving in to it!

No one likes a fight, but we can ‘fight fair’ by walking in the spirit of self-control and not giving ourselves to outbursts of wrath, dissentions, jealousies and contentions. It’s a choice. Lets choose love!
