We are all on a journey of discipleship and there is always a 'next step'. It could be learning more about Jesus, getting baptised, joining a group, serving, learning how to share His Word, discovering gifts or being trained in giftings.
At NetworX, 'Next Steps' is a pathway to see people move forward in their relationship with Jesus. Next Steps happen throughout the year so contact us to find out when the next session will be.
Baptism
Water Baptism:
Baptism is 'going public' with our decision to follow Jesus, and tell the world - our friends, our family, and our church, of the life changing decision we have made. At NetworX Church, we celebrate with those being baptised at our Baptism services. If you would like to learn more about Baptism, we'd love to share and answer any questions you have.
Why Get Baptised?:
I understand what Jesus did on the Cross for me.
I understand that Jesus was baptised and he is my example.
I identify with the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Holy Spirit Baptism:
The Holy Spirit is the third divine person of the Trinity, whose ministry bears witness of Jesus. The Holy Spirit gives the power to live and share the abundant life which Jesus promised to all who trust and obey Him. Know the Holy Spirit to know Jesus to know the Father. We also need the Holy Spirit for the fruits of the Spirit - "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
"Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptised with water, but in a few days you will be baptised with the Holy Spirit… you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.." Acts 1:4-5
